
BASKENT UNIVERSITY BODRUM SUMMER SCHOOL
1. In accordance with the decision dated 5 May 2023 and numbered 897 taken by the Baskent University Senate, it was decided to open a summer school in Bodrum. The first week of the Summer School program, which will be held for a total of two weeks in the form of a concentrated program jointly with Bodrum+ Institute, will be held face-to-face in Bodrum between 19-23 June 2023, and the second week will be held remotely between 3-7 July 2023. Thus, the lessons will be completed in two weeks.
2. In this context, SİBU417 Turkish Foreign Policy (Turkish) and POLT421 Current Issues in International Relations (English) courses will be offered as "university elective" courses. Each course will be given by three academic staff whose names are written below.

3. Students will apply for the course they are interested in by filling and sending a request form, which is in our department's website under the heading of 'Forms', named 'Summer School Course Request' to the Political Science and International Relations Department Secretariat of Baskent University (sibu@baskent.edu.tr) until 13 June 2023 at 5:00 p.m. The names of the students admitted to the Summer School within the quota will be announced on the website of the Department of Political Science and International Relations following the end of deadline period.
4. Accommodation and living expenses of the students in the Summer School to be held in Bodrum are free of charge. Only transportation expenses up to Bodrum belong to the students.
5. Students who are accepted to the Summer School will make their course registration through the ÖYS system that will be opened on June 20, 2023, one day after the classes start, and they will pay the course fees according to the principles determined by the Baskent University Registration Office, as in the usual way.
6. There is a quota limit in the program, which will be conducted in an intensive way for those who want to take a lesson with the natural beauties of Bodrum. In this context, early applications are important.
7. The concentrated nature of the summer school program, which will be implemented for the first time in Bodrum, ensures that the lessons are completed in a much shorter time, thus allowing students to devote more time to themselves during the summer period.
